Your eyes do not deceive you. In fact, as plush as the pictures make these pants appear, they're even better in person. As usual, Japan has taken a staple fabric we all love and made it at the highest level. First, this is no plastic fleece, it's 100% cotton. Next comes the monster weight, but it's really the thickness that's mind blowing and superb. It's probably one of the thickest materials we've used. The intensely brushed surface yields a furry surface that's as soft as silk. Just picture the most cozy fleece blanket you've ever owned - pliable, plush, warm - and now imagine being able to wear it in classic style.
