A true selvedge denim icon - this is the Cone Mills 1968. The most you can ask from a great selvedge denim is that it starts out beautiful and gets even better over time. As you can see from this well worn pair, the 1968 absolutely delivers.
Gustin jeans made from sanforized raw selvedge denim from Cone Mills. The 1968 was somewhat of a premium denim company darling. It was used by many and there's a reason for it. It sneaks up on you. It seems unassuming at first, but when you see the beautifully rich indigo shade and crisply starched raw feel you know you're touching classic quality. 20oz denim is cool. Super light denim is fun too. Let's face it, the 13.5oz sweet spot is a winner. It works year round and that's what you get in the 1968 - it has great body. We used this fabric as we were developing the skinny fit and knew we had to get our hands on more than just sample yardage. This is authentic, classic selvedge denim at its best.
This is the same style and quality that was sold in boutiques all over the country for $205+.
*Note unlike most brands we don't use vanity sizing for our pants. If you're a first time customer we highly recommend checking out our fit guide.

"I absolutely love my 1968’s. They are the perfect retro denim and so far the fit is excellent. I haven’t washed them yet, so that will be an adventure, but I’m sure I will figure that out."

"The 1968 selvedge jeans is the very first product I ordered from Gustin. I'm very impressed by its quality and construction. The fit is perfect for me. It is exactly as described in its sizing chart. There's no discernible shrinkage after the first wash. And price-wise, it's the best value I got for my money. No doubt, I'm very satisfied with the product. It's been only a month since I got my first pair, I've ordered my second one, the pricier Japanese Red Fire denim. I can hardly wait for it. More power to you guys!"

"These jeans are beautiful. I really love the look and feel of the 1968 denim, and I think these pants look really great on. They sit a little lower on the waist and tighter in the seat than I thought, which I'm not excited about, but I know that they will fit better as I wear them in, and they are already feeling better than when I first put them on. I just need to put my phone in a jacket pocket if I'm sitting."

"Great creasing after two weeks wear, I chose not to cuff, so a touch long for my liking. Quickly becoming my new favorite pair, however I’m a slim guy and I find the slim fit a bit tight in the hips/pockets, IPhone is definitely back pocket in these. I ordered my next pair in regular fit to see if they’re any better."
"Thank you so much. I love Gustin and appreciate the quality and service you brings to an industry that genuinely needs it. You guys are awesome!"

"I really love Gustin. I just don't think I'd choose another brand at any price point. And I love watching for new products/return of old favs. But a very important part of the experience is the great customer service."

"About a year ago, a coworker introduced me to Gustin (he rocks some of your pants to the office on the regular) and I have been watching the releases ever since. About three months ago, I finally backed a campaign. Since then, I have been so happy with all the pieces I have received."
