Indigo dyed to perfection, made right in the USA, now with a special nod to selvedge denim in the form of classic orange contrast stitching. This is the ultimate crewneck sweatshirt with a vintage twist.
Our crewnecks were the first garments to get treated to this special indigo dyed french terry. We wanted to add a new twist that calls back to the heritage of indigo by adding a new construction twist. The result is a fresh look on top of a fabric that's just drop dead beautiful. You know the start, a heavy, all cotton French Terry. It's a big 14 ounces and has a nicely vintage feel to it. The use of indigo dye creates a start out of this garment. You simply can't get colors this beautifully rich using any other type of dye. This version undergoes a light bleach process to bring the indigo down to the most stunningly soft vintage blue. Finally, we use orange contrast stitching similar to that used on our denim. It transforms these sweatshirts into styles you simply won't find anywhere else. It's a bright pop of color that instantly reminds you of our first true love, raw selvedge denim sewn up in vintage style.
Indigo beauty applied, vintage stitching, all at a huge value.
Indigo dyed pieces are designed to fade with wear. Expect some color transfer in initial wash and wear. Please see our care guide for more information.
"Never thought I would find a denim company that I feel like is a community."

"I really love Gustin. I just don't think I'd choose another brand at any price point. And I love watching for new products/return of old favs. But a very important part of the experience is the great customer service."

"My 1968s came in the mail yesterday…They're amazing! From the fit (thank you for all the hand-holding!) to the detailing, I'm blown away. Just tremendous quality at any price point, but the value here is off the charts."
