Japan Indigo Cable Knit Beanie

The Gustin Indigo Beanies are crafted by a renowned knitting factory in Japan using 100% cotton yarn, which has been sourced from the same supplier since 1892. This supplier invented the method to dye indigo yarn while keeping the core white, paving the way for Japanese denim. Dyeing the yarn prior to knitting rather than after, adds a layer of visual complexity. The result is an interplay of sky blue highlights and deep navy undertones seen throughout the beanie.

In the same way that jeans fade, the indigo used on these beanies will transform as they are worn and washed, developing a fade that will be uniquely yours.

Please note: The shade of indigo may vary slightly from beanie to beanie. The indigo dye is prone to bleeding when in contact with moisture. Hand wash separately with mild detergent and dry flat.
