Beautiful fabric is the starting point for any great product and it could not be truer than in the case of our Japan Hand Dyed Selvedge scarves.
Before the looming process begins, yarns are hand dyed, giving each strand a deep and rich color. Only the most beautiful and rare dyes are used. Persimmon extracts are used to achieve an incredible rusty orange. Natural indigo dye is used in various shades ranging from a gorgeous sky blue to a deep inky blue, creating a beautiful contrast throughout the scarf.
The scarves are loomed using a combination of Supima 60/2 Z twist and 40/2 S twist cotton yarns, giving the scarf a special weaving effect and a luxurious feel to the touch. They are light and incredibly gauzy while still having great volume. The edges are finished by hand with a selvedge edge on each side.
A 70" length and 24" width support a variety of knots and folding options.
