Pure collector selvedge you can enjoy daily. Inky indigo on the top, vivid purple on the bottom, wrapped in a rugged selvedge denim. The Indigo X Purple - welcome to the world of truly rare selvedge denim at a value you won't find anywhere else.
The best selvedge in the world manages to combine the most beautiful ingredients into a complex and rich whole. This style combines artistry with authenticity. It starts with the dye, both in the warp and weft. The warp gets an incredibly dark, inky indigo finish. The weft gets an ultra-rare vivid purple dye, unlike any other style we've run. A peek inside shows off the bold purple. Cuff these, and you can let it show. What's nice is that overall, the effect is more subtle, a soft purple glow to the inky surface. Slubby yarns running throughout help create separation to make the weft show through a bit more. Next comes the big 16 ounce weight and heavy starch. This selvedge feels exactly the way we want a true vintage, rugged pair of raw denim - burly and stiff. If unsure, size up. Nothing other than a classic red ID would do to finish it off.

"These things are absolutely incredible. Far more beautiful than pictures convey but if this is your first venture into a heavier weight denim, be prepared. They start off stiff and rugged like the sturdiest starchiest canvas. They were NOT comfortable on day 1. I've been wearing them for about 10 days now and can already see how gorgeous the fades will be. If you purchased these on a whim as your first pair, don't give up on them.
