True quality and craft. A blend of cotton and linen creates an enhanced vintage feel while the deepest indigo dye makes for a simply beautiful finish. This is what Japan does best - the Japan Heavy Midnight.
If you're a selvedge denim lover, like us, the moment you see this style from Japan, you must acknowledge pure fabric beauty. Touching it confirms the substance is equally impressive. All a result of the best ingredients and craft. This one starts with cotton and a hefty addition of linen to create a very solid 14 ounce denim. It's the blend that really creates a special feel. Linen, in raw form, lends an additional crispy hand that we all know is ideal for setting in great creases and eventually fades. Linen softens with use and adds a layer of breathability. You'll sense this composition the moment you touch this denim. Next comes the color - one of the deepest, darkest, inkiest midnight indigos we've seen. The surface is almost as dark as a double indigo style. We love the versatility of this saturated style. It can be formal or rugged and casual. A bold white/red selvedge ID caps it off. I see a lot of denim. I'm adding this one to my collection.
