True specialty denim from Japan. This one is a showcase of the artistic and colorful use of yarn to create an absolute explosion of visual texture and color. Even more impressive, the weft yarn is the true star. On top (the warp), you have a rich, earthy brown. This sets the overall color stage. The powerful underside, the weft, really makes this fabric. Slubby yarns rendered in a true rainbow of colors blast through the top surface. An explosion of color shines through in a an organic way. Subtle, no, but if you can appreciate the unique deployment of specialty yarns and technique, you'll be hard pressed to beat this denim.
